Knife Return Instructions

The Cutting Edge® and® is an aftermarket consignment service that began in the late 1960s as A. G. Russell’s List of  Knives for Immediate DeliveryThe Cutting Edge® is a printed catalog which offers higher priced knives, mostly handmade.® is a website through which we sell mostly factory knives.  Because we add knives to the website every month, but print a catalog only every second month, owners will sometimes ask us to add their handmade knife to the website instead of the book.  Most of the knives available through these two offerings are owned by folks like you – people who love knives.  So, usually there is only one of each available.  Should we have a duplicate, there will be two separate listings. 

14 Day Preview Provision: Because these knives are owned by individuals, not A. G. Russell Knives, there is a 14 Day Preview period.  Return any knife you purchase to The Cutting Edge® within 14 days for any reason, for a full refund of the purchase price.  After 14 days, we will gladly put it on consignment for you.

Return Knife in Condition Received:  All knives are in unused condition unless we indicate otherwise and must be returned in the same condition as they are received.  DO NOT use or carry these knives and expect to return them for a refund.  Past the 14 day preview, you have purchased the knife.

Returning knives:  We provide with each knife a return address label which you can tape to the package and these instructions.  If you must return a knife, send to Attn: Returns, The Cutting Edge, 2900 S. 26th St., Rogers, Arkansas 72758.  This will assure that the package gets to the correct place in our building to expedite the process of refunding your purchase price and to assure that the knife is again available for purchase.

Insure Returned Knives:  If you return a knife, be sure to insure it for the price of the knife.  If the package you ship back to us is lost, you will bear the loss.  We suggest either UPS or FedEx.  Insure and keep your documentation. If lost, you will need to file the insurance claim.
