This knife is pre-owned. It has been used, carried, & resharpened. The tang stamp on this knife is 1924-1933. It is Remington UMC in block letters with a circle around it and made in USA on the outside. The back of the tang is stamped R4353. The back springs are also carbon steel. The entire knife has been buffed. The springs are still nice & strong. It comes in a black nylon pouch.
