This axe was made by Paul Arey of Tupper Lake NY. In 1998, he called it an "Outfitters Axe" for quartering game and emergency use. The axe head has a mirror polish finish and has not been used. The steel is almost 3/8" thick. This axe is heavy for its size. Comes with a leather axe head sheath made to fit on a belt.
